Building Content on Multiple Platforms

As you may know, Gary Vaynerchuk is one of my favorite entrepreneurs and an inspiration to me. I love his content and his brutal honesty in the advice that he gives. One of the best pieces of advice that I have heard from him is the use of content on multiple platforms. You may have heard me talk about this briefly on the Big Promo Cast, since the concept is such an important one in marketing. Gary Vee has built his empire while doing this – and you can, too.

Take a few tips from me (and Gary Vee) about marketing on multiple platforms:

  • Use every platform that you can – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Clubhouse … anything that you can.
  • Repeating content can be a good thing! You don’t want anyone to miss out. Take clips or images from a video on Facebook and post the clips to Instagram. Talk about the same content on Clubhouse or your podcast.
  • Learn about the platforms. They each have their own specials features that you should take advantage of. For example, learn about ‘stories’ on Facebook and Instagram, and then use them.
  • Get creative. Videos tend to have some of the best responses. Try something different with your videos. Show people the back end of what you do. Create a cartoon video or image. See where your imagination takes you.
