Whenever I send emails, I will sometimes get a reply with a compliment to my job title, Duchess of Flow. While there can be pros and cons to a creative job title, it has definitely worked out for me. The only true downfall I have had is that no one seems to know what I actually do without an explanation. This is your chance to find out, though. Let me walk you through a day in the life of the Duchess of Flow…

Three days out of the week, I work in the office, which I feel is when I get my best work done – no distractions, unlike when I work from home another three days each week. Saturdays tend to be the most productive. Once I show up to the office, I get to work: accounting, filing, and working on blog posts. I do a lot of administrative work but writing is a passion of mine so I spend a lot of my time on blog posts when I get a chance to just sit and let the creative juices flow.

Saturdays are also when I do the Big Promo Cast podcast with Rich Graham. I have to make sure that I have my notes prepared and try and remember what I did the previous week. I’m a busy woman so it’s sometimes difficult for me to focus on the details of the week before. But once I get ready for the podcast, we get to it. I have such a blast chatting with Rich and sharing great information with our viewers. And if you’re not already a regular viewer, you should check it out. Our live podcasts are aired on both Facebook and YouTube at 2 PM Eastern / 1 PM Central. You can also listen to previous episodes by visiting the Big Promo Cast on our blog.

My job is quite diverse, from data entry to helping customers to doing a podcast – and a bit of everything in between. I keep the “flow” of this office going, which is awesome. I have the best boss in the world and get to even enjoy my love for writing. I love my job and BigPromotions is my home.
