MaskFone: the Face Mask with Wireless Headset

Last week, I was listening to a podcast via my headphones. I had to step outside, which meant cutting through the office. Obviously, that meant that I need to put on my mask. So I just slipped my mask on over my ears and headed out the door. When I got outside, I went to take my mask off, forgetting about my headphones! My ear buds slipped out of my ears and fell to the ground.

I know, I know. #FirstWorldProblems…but the market will provide.

The MaskFone is a new face mask with an integrated Bluetooth headset. The earbuds come with three sizes for the best fit and last about eight hours before needing a charge. They hook up to your phone for easy calling, as well as work well with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant. They also are water-resistant, so they can hold up even with sweat or rain. The mask has a pocket for filters (PM2.5) and comes with three of them. It’s even made from scuba material and washable cotton. That makes it both water-resistant and breathable.

It’s interesting to see where the pandemic has taken us. We’re often left with feelings of isolation, frustration over masks, and fear of lost business. But it seems that the world is shifting and we’re all just trying to make the best of it. I have a feeling that we will be seeing more technology-based masks and other PPE in the very near future.
