The past year and a half has been an adventure, to say the least, as we have had to learn a new way of living through a pandemic. As the world is opening back up, it’s important that we look at ways to let people know that businesses are up and running again. Let’s talk about a few industries that had set backs during the height of the pandemic, and how they can advertise to their customers once again.

  • Bars and restaurants – The food service industry took a hard hit during the pandemic. (It’s hard to socially distance and still enjoy a drink.) But now that things are opening back up, it’s important for bars and restaurants to advertise their re-openings. Offer a new happy hour drink. Pass out t-shirts to the first few people who come. Write in your window about new promotions. The options are endless.
  • Airlines – Labelled to be the industry most impacted by COVID, airlines have quite a bit of marketing to do now. Folks were terrified to go on an airplane, and rightfully so. Now, though, airlines are back to the grind as more people are vaccinated and we have learned how to keep the virus at bay through personal protection equipment and good hygiene. One idea is to send out direct mail to everyone who uses the rewards program. You can also offer free airline miles to those who use your airline during through a specific date.
  • Leisure facilities – Public pools, rec centers, and arcades are a few other places that have been affected by the pandemic. But now it’s time to get back to the fun in life! Signs and banners are one way to announce that you’re open again. Another option is pass out scannable loyalty cards.

One of the best ways that any business can advertise that they are up and running once again is by showing off ways that they are being aware that the virus is not gone. Imprint face masks with your logo for employees. Put your company name on a vaccination card holder to encourage people to get vaccinated. Find new ways to let customers know that you’re being safe during this uncertain time. Need some ideas? Contact us and we can help you come up with creative ways to market!
