Dunkin’ Runs Out on America

There is a huge level of importance in preparation.

During Super Bowl LVIII, Dunkin [formerly Dunkin Donuts] joined the bandwagon of popular brands and showed off its latest commercial. The clip featured Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, Jennifer Lopez, and Fat Joe, with the first three showing off as the fictional band, “The DunKings.”

Dunkin’ put the tracksuits up for sale on their website on February 19, and they actually sold out in 19 minutes. According to Boston.com, that is the “fastest collection to sell out in Dunkin’ history.”

Unfortunately, not everyone is getting their merch on time.

Celebrities across the country can sport their DunKings apparel, but many customers have called out Dunkin’ for not delivering their merchandise in a reasonable time frame. (You can see one Reddit thread about it here.)

It seems that Dunkin’ has also not properly communicated with customers on when to expect the items they bought. Customers across the country have been dropping into Dunkin’s DMs and emailing customer service but are getting generic responses with no indication as to how much longer they will have to wait. A statement from the company expressed sympathy that the demand for the merch led to “fulfillment issues with our partners, resulting in delayed shipping times.”
